The Story Behind Foreign Affair

Some boats are simply owned. Others become part of a family's story. Foreign Affair is definitely the latter.

The journey began when Mike and his wife were shopping for a fifth wheel at an RV show. They wanted something they could travel with, along with a smaller boat to tow behind it. While chatting with a salesperson, they were asked a simple question: "Why not have the best of both worlds? Why not buy a boat you can live in?"

His wife had one concern.

"I don't want to pull the anchor."

The salesperson smiled and replied, "You don't have to. It has an electronic anchor."

That was all it took.

Since then, Foreign Affair has taken them on countless adventures across Western Canada, creating memories on Jan Lake in northern Saskatchewan, Lake Winnipeg, and Gleniffer Lake. It's a fantastic cruiser that's especially enjoyable if you have access to a dock, making weekends on the water effortless.

The boat's name also carries a special meaning. Mike spent time working in Cuba while Fidel Castro was still in power, and those experiences inspired the name Foreign Affair.

This one-owner boat has been well cared for and includes thoughtful features that make ownership easy, including an electronic anchor, battery charging system with shore power connection, battery kill switch, travel shield cover, and the original electronic owner's manual. Inside, the main dinette converts into an additional bed, making overnight stays comfortable for family or guests.
